Shanghai

I reached Shanghai at the first place on the 27th morning at 7.30a.m. Then the tour guide waited for us where our tour group had only 12 peoples. We were brought to Oriental Pearl Tower which is 468 meters high. It is the highest TV Tower in Asia and the third highest tower in the world. Besides that, we also went to the Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple, known for its white jade statue of Sakyamuni, brought all the way from Myanmar. Shanghai is a good place for shopping. We had the opportunity to explore the Shanghai’s famous shopping street which is called Nanjing Road, also known as the number one commercial street in China. Another famous shopping centre was the Chenghuang-miao ( Shanghai Old Street ) which is a busy shopping disctrict for gold jewellery, handicrafts and small items, as well as for all sorts of snacks. Chenghuang-miao is one of the best-know tourist sports in China.
